Little Rock, Arkansas, March 26, 2009 - John G. Hohner, DO, FAAO has assumed the office of Governor of the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO).Dr. Hohner is a 1987 graduate of Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Special Proficiency in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He is presently an associate professor of osteopathic manipulative medicine and family practice at Midwestern University/CCOM and is in private practice in Oak Forest, IL. Dr. Hohner served the Academy as program chair for the1996 and 2006 AAO Programs at AOA Conventions in Las Vegas and as the program chair for the 2008 AAO Annual Convocation in Dallas. Dr. Hohner also serves the Academy as chairman of its Education and a member of the External Fund Raising Committee.
