The American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO) was founded in 1937 by a group of physicians concerned to ensure the future teaching of the basic osteopathic principles set forth by Andrew Taylor Still.

It is one of 22 practice affiliates of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) , the parent organization of the osteopathic profession.

The AAO is itself the parent organization of the UAAO, and assists us greatly in providing learning opportunities and educational settings for the betterment of our manipulative medicine skills!
