Any student of an American Osteopathic Association accredited osteopathic medical school, or an osteopathic medical school pending AOA accreditation, may become a member of the Undergraduate American Academy of Osteopathy via their local campus organization.

Membership encompasses all of the remaining years of your undergraduate medical education from the year that you join, and is covered by a one-time membership fee to the AAO and UAAO. Students selected to become Undergraduate Teaching Fellows will continue to be members of the UAAO during their fellowship year with no additional dues.

Membership in UAAO provides many benefits! Members are able to participate in local chapter activities at no charge, and can take advantage of highly reduced prices on manipulation tables at most schools. Local chapters host special classes and clinics to provide members with experience in manipulative modalities not taught in class. Membership in the Undergraduate Academy also allows students to receive a significant discount on the registration fees for the annual AAO Convocation that is convened each March across the country (and at times even in Canada!).

To find out how much dues are and learn about the opportunities available through your local UAAO chapter, please talk to one of your local chapter officers and pick up an application to become a member of UAAO!
